Weekend crash results in fatality

On July 24th at 9:22PM Marshall County Sheriff’s Deputies were dispatched to a vehicle crash with injuries in the 3000 mile of Main Street Road.   Upon arrival at the scene, it was determined a vehicle and a motorcycle had been involved in a collision.   The driver of the motorcycle had sustained serious injuries from the collision.  Deputies were assisted at the scene by Marshalltown Police, Green Mountain Fire and EMS, and Unity Point ambulance.  Iowa State Patrol Technical Investigators were called to the scene to investigate the crash. 

The motorcycle driver, Shelly Tuttle, age 48 of Marshalltown died as a result of injuries sustained in the crash.  The other vehicle involved was driven by a juvenile from Marshalltown and was uninjured.  The crash is still under investigation by the Iowa State Patrol.
