1800-mile of 190th Street (C.R. E-29) in Marshall - Earlier today it was reported that; Marshall County Deputies were dispatched to the 1800-mile of 190th Street (C.R. E-29) in Marshall County around 2:20 AM on Thursday 01-10-08. A passerby had phoned in to dispatch that they had found a vehicle on its top. Responding deputies along with Marshalltown Fire and Rescue and the State Center Fire/EMT found the subject unresponsive. It was apparent that the vehicle lost control and veered into the south ditch, rolling and ending up on its top.
The driver, Casey James Ryan DOB 04-01-82 of Albion, Iowa, was found by responders to be fatally injured. The Marshall County Medical Examiner, Dr. David Bethel pronounced Mr. Ryan deceased at the scene. An autopsy will be performed by the State Medical Examiner's Office in Ankeny, Iowa with results and further Investigation will follow.
