Rural Marshall County Woman Involved In Fatal Tractor Accident-UPDATED 09-24-23

On September 23, 2023 at 10:25AM, Marshall County Communications Center received a 911 call reporting a person involved in an accident with a tractor in northwestern rural Marshall County.  Deputies arrived on scene and found that Beth Fuhs, age 57, of Union had been operating a loader tractor and it had overturned causing serious injuries.  She was transported to Unity Point Health in Marshalltown by ambulance where she later succombed to her injuries.   The Sheriff's Office was assisted by Albion, Clemons, Liscomb, and State Center Fire and EMS, Union Ambulance, Unity Point Ambulance, Marshall County Communcations Center, and the Marshall County Medical Examiners Office.
