Donuts with Deputies

December 11, 2023

Please join us for the first "Donuts with Deputies" event at Marshalltown Hy-Vee on Saturday, December 16th from 7:00-10:00AM.  Marshalltown Hy-Vee will be providing free coffee and donuts for this event.  Based on the idea of the national "Coffee with a Cop" program, this is a community outreach event that gives the public a chance to stop by meet and chat with some of the Marshall County Sheriff's Office staff.  In addition to the free coffee, this event offers the option of enjoying a free donut for kids or those who are not coffee drinkers.

The MCSO K9 unit will also be there selling K9 fundraising merchandise to help support the maintenance costs of the K9 program.  They will have challenge coins, t-shirts, patches, and stuffed animals to choose from.  MCSO K9 Bosco completed training and certification in Novemember and is now on patrol in Marshall County with his handler, Deputy Tanner Hunt.  They join Lizzie, a narcotics detection K9, and her handler and K9 trainer, Reserve Deputy Melinda Ruopp.

Please stop in and visit us on Saturday morning.
