On October 1st, 2025, investigators with the Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force served a narcotics search warrant at 401 Park St, Marshalltown, Iowa as part of an ongoing drug investigation.
As a result of this investigation, one suspect was arrested and jailed on various criminal drug charges:
Jose Jesus Morales-Garcia, 27 of Marshalltown
Investigators conducting a search of the residence uncovered evidence of drug use and distribution. Authorities seized approximately fifteen grams of suspected methamphetamine and various items of drug-related paraphernalia.
The Mid Iowa Drug Task Force executed the search warrant with assistance from the Marshalltown Police Department, Marshall County Sheriff’s Office K9, and the Iowa Division of Narcotics Enforcement.
The Mid-Iowa Drug Task Force is funded by a grant, through the United States Department of Justice, Bureau of Justice Assistance, and the Governor's Office of Drug Control Policy.
The Marshall County Sheriff’s Office wishes to remind everyone that a criminal charge is merely an accusation, and a person charged with a criminal offense is innocent until proven guilty in a court of law.
